Modulus Recon MK2 - Hard Range Modification Kit
The Recon has quite a career of excessive modding. Already in its original version, Nerf N- Strike Recon CS-6, it was tortured to bring the last ounce of performance to light. The successor Nerf N-Strike Elite Retaliator continued this tradition. Also in its newest version, the Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Modulus Recon MKII, a decent amount of performance potential waits to be revealed. With the Hard Range Modification Kit we went straight to the limits. The Recon MKII presumably won’t be able to handle a harder power increase in the long run. The usage of the Hard Range Kit greatly affects the performance of the Recon MKII as shown in the list below, though the handling of the pistol will change. It requires quite an amount of force to prime a Hard Rage Recon MKII and the mechanics will mostly only catch if the slider is slammed backwards with a powerful jolt. Slow and silent priming will almost be impossible. That’s the price you pay for the incomparable performance. Even if the blasters Recon CS-6, Retaliator and Recon MKII resemble each other visually, they are very different regarding their internals. The Blasterparts Tuning-Set Hard Range for the Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Modulus Recon MKII does only fit into this specified model.
